The Bristol Bullring will be the big challenge for the more inexperienced drivers this weekend, namely Logano, Speed and Ambrose. Known for its rough and tumble action, flaring tempers, thrown helmets and "paybacks are hell" attitude, Bristol is as close to the Saturday night dirt-track free-for-all that was the kernel that birthed NASCAR as we know it today.
Almost to a man, Bristol is the favorite track of the veteran drivers; no restrictor plates, intimate atmosphere (can you say small and cozy?), and certainly NOT boring!! |
